Jerry

Hi PPl,

Its been over a week since my nephew passed away. His name, Jeremiah James Abraham and he was only eighteen. He was doing his engineering Degree in Ipoh and lived his last months back and forth from Ipoh to sitiawan where he helps his parents with Church on weekends. Jerry as what we most affectionately called him was the right hand man for his dad and the support to his parents. This sweet child was the 2nd child born to my cuz. He and his sister was my darling as we grew up together until just few years back where I got busy with much stuff in KL and all… Jerry was a bright amazing boy. For him he sees black as black and white is white. For a young boy his maturity in Christ was remarkable. It happened in a short span of 16 days, before that there was no obvious symptoms only a complain of severe head ache for two days, with that as shared by my cuz sister he still went to church for the all night prayer and went to church on Sunday again. He was on the bigger scale on the weight side but his heart was bigger for Gods work. His mom and dad had to literally push him up the stairs to get him up as he was really week. He went for a CT scan, found a tumor, went for an opp thru the nostrils, went thru the life support, went for another opp thru the brain and found that the tumor was rooted to the scull and the brain. And passed away when his granny came back from India. Funny when I found out about him being admitted, I sent a msg out for prayer thru face book and sms’s and my hubby approached his office pals for support. And everyone was asking the name of the parents, they don’t even know the situation…you see Tash one of the youths in RS is a stage 4 cancer patient, when I ask prayer for her. Every one is geared up to pray in faith for that young one. But for Jerry’s case so many of them came back to want to pray for the parents for strength. Even my hubby’s colleague’s prayed for his parents to accept. I think so many of them picked it up in their spirit that it’s His time. Even my Aunty, Jerry’s Granny that was in India had visions that Jesus was carrying Jerry to a Beautiful white Coffin.
As my cuz was standing at the funeral service sharing Jerry’s testimony, there was not one eye that was dry in that room. Over 800ppl filled the house to pay their final respects, only showed me that the life Jerry lived was such an impact full life. He would have lived a short life, but he lived a full life in Christ. This boy was one amazing boy, as we sat down talking about all the memories…we were reminded on what such a loving child he was. He would even at his adolescent years express his love to his parent and wish everyone goodnight, every night before he is off to sleep. He would never take people for granted. But he also was a choleric, if he did not like something he would say it out, but that only proved that he does not keep things in his heart. He would complement the food that his mom cooked in a rush before off to minister to the estate side of Sitiawan to telling her that he loved her so much. He would be the first to wake up and have his devotion. His diary will be filled with names of ppl that needs prayer and all of the family member’s names were written in there to be prayed for, this is so he will not miss any out. Oh yes he loved life so much. Then he wakes mom for prayer and after moms devotion, she gets more shut eye while he gets his youngest brother ready for school. Honks the van to signal the girls that live next door to their house to send them off to school (The church has a home for young girls) send mommy dearest to work. My cuz sis also added that since he was still on probation license. He would never drive any vehicle without the ‘P’ sticker. He moves the sticker from car to car when he drives. On Sunday mornings, he leaves home at 7 am to bring people to church from Air Tawar to sitiawan. About 20KM drive and off he goes to bring more ppl to church, then sends them back. Their ministry is towards the estates in Perak side, hence the people that come are mostly poor but truly hungry for God. Awesome right. The funeral service was so beautiful and only songs of praises were sung.
He was a boy after Gods own heart, as you can see; you would know why he went back to daddy. But it hurts, very much and sometimes most of the times we can’t explain this. I always see death and life to be one of God’s amazing mysteries and choose not to question Him when it comes to this.. Not that I am trying to be humble or anything, it’s just that something’s are just beyond my imagination and beyond my human ability to comprehend. So I save myself the misery of wanting understand things beyond my minds capabilities…, I know my daddy God knows best and life belongs to him and I do know that only HE, HE alone has the power to give and to take away.. it took along time for me to understand that but knowing that daddy knows best and has control in this situation helps so much, but honestly it still hurts. It hurts so much. That my eyes just did not want to stop from flowing…(You can imagine the head ache I had after that) In fact as a mother I know it will hurt so much that you feel your heart is about to explode. Just imagining my kids not being here with me stabs my heart.. so I in a way I was able to feel, not total but a tiny bit could feel what my Cuz went thru. As they were burring his body, I held the umbrella for my cuz, and I heard her whisper; “Father God, I know I am suppose to let him go to you, but its painful, so painful. I am sorry, but it hurts.” When she said that my heart broke. It rained; rained so heavily that we had to speed things up and to see the members of the church themselves bare footed and buried Jerry’s body, was breathtaking. I would say this was a boy that was one of a kind and I learnt so much from my experience there. The funeral, the lives, the commitment, the love, wow..amazing..

Jerry will be missed so much, but at the same time, I know we will be meeting him soon when he welcomes us back home with The big JC…..His life was such an impact full life. A life fully lived and love given all to GOD. Never thought my Young cute nephew would have impacted more lives when he passed on from earth. To God be all the glory.

Love you all so much till then..

Tickets for sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Praise Community Church is based in Semenyih and over the past 6 years, the Church has diligently served the community around Semenyih, most of who are from low income group. The Church has grown from a congregation of just 15 to over 120 now. Praise Community Church is actively involved in Estate ministry as well as managing a half way house for abused women. The Church serves the community of Semenyih from a 2 storey shop lot that is owned by a medical Doctor who operates a private clinic downstairs.
However, recently the Church was given notice to vacate as the Doctor intends to expand his practice. Having no other choice, we scouted for and found an unoccupied vacant corner lot building at Bandar Sunway Semenyih. With earnest help and fervent prayer from the congregation, we have now managed to negotiate with the developers to allow us to rent the 2 storey corner lot building for an amount that we had budgeted for.
We have managed to secure a good deal as this building will eventually belong to us as we have embarked on a ‘Rent – To – Purchase’ agreement with the developers. Hence we are seeking your kind assistance to help us raise the much needed funds to allow us to purchase this building in due course.
Various activities have been planned by our community and this has accumulated to one major function which is the “Charity Dinner” to be held on Saturday 28th March 2009 at the Bangsar Seafood Garden Restaurant, No 63, Jalan Ara, Bangsar Baru, 59100 Kuala Lumpur.
You can help us by purchasing seats at RM150.00 per person or RM1,500 per table. Please call us for the “Response Form” for your kind perusal and further action. We sincerely appreciate your time and thank you for your support. We look forward to your favourable reply. Thank you on behalf of our Church.

PRAISE COMMUNITY CHURCH – SEMENYIH

Hey People!!!!!!!! How are ya’ll doing?? Okay…this few weeks had been a huge blessing. We’re done with one of our major events, THE BBQ PARTY, There are few more huge ones up our sleeves.
A few months towards our BBQ party, we, Radically Saved, was approached by a couple via facebook. They spoke and cliqued with us the moment we met. They were our host last 31st August. They approached us for assistance for their church building fund.
Read on la! I haven’t come to the point yet.
The couple, Rita and Sasi, came up with an initial plan of a charity dinner. Guess what? In true RS spirit, we took up the challenge and start laying out plans and quite a few “extravagant and radical” ideas so to speak.
RS got to know this couple even more and about their church that we are about to help as well. The couple attends Praise Community Church (PCC). This is an outreach of the Kajang Assembly Of God. PCC was established in August of 2002 and the Church was located in Semenyih in a two storey shop lot with just over 15 members. Believe it because 2 or more gathered in HIS name IS a CHURCH. Currently they are in the process of moving to a better place which now located in Bandar Sunway Semenyih.
Of course with a church there must be a man who is running the will of the guy upstairs right? The congregation is lead by Pastor Marcel Joseph, with the assistance of his wife, Sister Eva in worship and prayer every Sundays. The community is mainly made up of Tamil Christians from around Kajang and Semenyih. The church actually goes into places like Oil Palm Estates in and around Kajang and Semenyih bringing the good news.
It is common knowledge that moving to a new place is very taxing in resources and financially. PCC had purchased a building which is much more accessible for the existing congregation and also the new ones which I am very sure that will boom in no time.
PCC has seen tremendous growth in the past few years and presently stands at over 130 members, inclusive of children. See told ya’ll that it’s a huge number. They also had been actively involved in various ministries and have regular cell group meetings in various members’ houses.
Under the leadership of Pastor Marcel, PCC has continued to extend their ministry to nearby estates such as Abaco Estate and soon we will be reaching out to Dunedin Estate, all in and around Semenyih. It is quite an amazing feat to see a church to grow at that rate in just few years time.
Read on to know more on the Estate Ministries that PCC caters.

The Abaco ministry began four years ago. They started by providing free tuition and organizing children’s church on Saturdays. At first used a dilapidated house which belonged to a worker. After two years, the house was demolished and the estate chief clerk allowed us to use the nursery school. When they wanted to install ceiling fans, they were told to do it at their own risk because chairs and mats would go missing as the crèche was not locked. But our God is a prayer answering God. One month later, they were given the keys to a house which was completely renovated, painted and had a fan installed for the use of MIC’s community projects. The chief clerk gave them the keys to the house as he appreciated their work. See its not a myth when you hear good deeds has its own rewards and blessings.
In addition to that, PCC had built a good relationship with the families in the estate and are able to minister to them. They have begun to open up and share their problems with them. The church members would ask them (PCC) to pray whenever they have a need.
PCC believes the Lord is doing a great work in their lives. Some of them have testified how God has intervened in their lives. Recently, one of them wanted a Tamil Bible because she saw a vision of Jesus Christ and was healed of a terrible pain in her leg after she prayed and called upon Jesus. No doubt that it is such a blessing to receive and such a wonderful testament to HIS name. Occasionally, some of them come to church. Sincerely we (RS) believe that God will do many more great things among this group of people and will lift them up from oppression, poverty and rejection.
Apart from the Estate ministry, Praise Community Church members are also involved in Single Women Ministry. Under the guidance of the Pastor and senior members of the Church, we continue to assist single mothers who are in need of support, both financially as well as emotionally. The Church members often donate food and clothing to the single mothers which in turn helps to ease their burden. From this ministry PCC has now established a ‘half-way house’ for women who are in distress or in urgent need of a place to shelter. The home is called ‘Rumah HatiKu”.
What you have just read is just a small fraction of what Radically Saved had heard from the couple. It is amazing how a small step that a church takes could impact lives of so many in a huge way. Clearly without any doubt that all this work, there should be financial backing. In the end of the day, it is the will and the work of God is in the main picture.
There this once Rita was sharing with us that the church doesn’t even have a proper sound system. There this once a guest speaker comes to the church to share. Everything was going on fine till the mic went off. Mind it that they don’t have cordless mics that some churches are accustomed to. When the guest speaker asked to change the mic, they had to switch mics with the worship team. Which we were told only had 2 mics. For a moment I was relieved that I wasn’t in the Pastor’s shoes. It was heart wrenching to hear that a church that was so involved in the Lords work undergoing this much.
Here where RS comes in with Sasi and Rita’s Building Fund. The date is confirmed. Which if I am not wrong, is set on the 28th March 2009? It might not seem like a long time, but believe me it is just a small time period. Come on it translates into a semester of my course la. So short!!! The tickets for this charity event are priced at RM 150.00 per head and RM 1500.00 per table (10pax. per table). We will be having it at Bangsar Seafood Restaurant. We will keep you readers updated often with the Charity Dinner. If you are interested in finding out more on this event, please do look us up on facebook. Peace, Word!

RS @ the Church in Bangsar

Hey all…

Been so busy but am taking some time to update the blog..well last Sunday we went to TCIB, Tash was also there with the core 8. Well we started with normal prayer and KAvi and Tom on the worship. It was awesome and Gods presence was so beautiful….the funny thing we went to help but got more out of that humble Church than we can ever imagine….. their Church has say less than 20 ppl, but never the lest they were welcoming and so hospitable. we took over worship, ushering, exaltation and a special entrance of Praying for this nation after KAvi led us to the song God of This city. Then Sha came and gave such an impactful prayer..it was awesome the our darling big bro Spidey did such an awesome Exaltation on faith…God is awesome !!! then what an amazing day when such a simple church can do amazing things..we enjoyed it and honestly we saw our hearts change and got it renewed. Ps. Paul shared an amazing word and he also prophesied on all of us.. and personally it was amazing as something broke in us and we could literally see things change. And at that moment God gave us a word, BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD…..just to let you all know if you can come and support this church its an amazing ministry that is happening and God is Moving..We are going again This week and wanna come with us call me at 017-3705205

Love you all much

Conformation From Above!!!!

Its funny how God brings conformation’s from…I just received a conformation from a very unlikely place, you see I will be resigning by end of this year and will be in RS fulltime, so many things are happening and I know in my heart going fulltime is the right thing to do, but being human and of course me being me..So many doubts came, like I have two kids and Tom is not like the much earning guy that can support the Kids me and the group…Debts, even small things like me waking up late on holiday was an issue in my head, and yea instead of rebuking it I let it linger in ma head…and I actually got to a place of thinking I should not ask favors from God, coz HE is God and I am mere dust. So I felt like I was being so selfish and greedy.. my God i turned in such a servants mentality…I was a shell so deep that I did not know what to do….i could not come out of it and even doing my devotions I even stopped from asking God for strength…Yes I know Dumbboooo……But you know what God is truly truly amazing, in my Weakness He is my Strength…in my pain He is my Comfort…in my Sorrow He is Joy…Love You Jesus….
Last Saturday, we had a meeting like Hendry have stated below a team from India, never in my wildest dream had I ever imagined to be touched, challenged, motivated, inspired by a third World nation…never ever doubt what God can do with just simple ppl with a willing heart….everything the pastor said was a conformation, the songs his wife sang, the prayer…I thank Pst. Paul Singham for inviting us. From the start to the finish Gods anointing was so strong and I was crying like a baby, like Gods anointing broke my heart and melted it. I was crying like a kid so lost from her dad and finally found refuge in His arms….Every word was saying, “Girl, its me. I love you, come to me, I will give you rest. Babe, I am not only your Master, I am your Father that have loved you so much and will always do” tears was so not in the state of control at all…seriously my eyes were like literally leaking. And conformation upon conformation, when he spoke about their youth ministry poured in. my heart like found new peace..i know I was a dumbo..but you know what it is ok…HE has never held that against me. I love my God
And right then and there, I tell you my heart skipped a beat, coz going fulltime is what i know my passion lies in, I love doing what I do..but circumstances just brings in to much bad vibe man…and I knew What that this was the final conformation I needed…oh ya one of the toughest conformation was to see if my hubby get the peace…and before I got the total Go tom got it…..and when we told the Pastor, he was like “good, good…God bless you ayah”. (u know like with the slang and the whole package la…)
And I tell you, God is moving…even after that things are flooding in, so far now our team will be in St.Mary’s, Then Rita and Shasi (RS Mummy and Daddy) Church, Ps. Paul’s Church…are a few..lots more on the way man…everything is shifting, the atmosphere has shifted..GOD IS MOVING

“but we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be God and not of us. We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed- always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.” (2 Corinthians 4:7-10)
