His name, Jeremiah James Abraham and he was only eighteen. He was doing his engineering Degree in Ipoh and lived his last months back and forth from Ipoh to sitiawan where he helps his parents with Church on weekends. Jerry as what we most affectionately called him was the right hand man for his dad and the support to his parents. This sweet child was the 2nd child born to my cuz. He and his sister was my darling as we grew up together until just few years back where I got busy with much stuff in KL and all… Jerry was a bright amazing boy. For him he sees black as black and white is white. For a young boy his maturity in Christ was remarkable. It happened in a short span of 16 days, before that there was no obvious symptoms only a complain of severe head ache for two days, with that as shared by my cuz sister he still went to church for the all night prayer and went to church on Sunday again. He was on the bigger scale on the weight side but his heart was bigger for Gods work. His mom and dad had to literally push him up the stairs to get him up as he was really week. He went for a CT scan, found a tumor, went for an opp thru the nostrils, went thru the life support, went for another opp thru the brain and found that the tumor was rooted to the scull and the brain. And passed away when his granny came back from India. Funny when I found out about him being admitted, I sent a msg out for prayer thru face book and sms’s and my hubby approached his office pals for support. And everyone was asking the name of the parents, they don’t even know the situation…you see Tash one of the youths in RS is a stage 4 cancer patient, when I ask prayer for her. Every one is geared up to pray in faith for that young one. But for Jerry’s case so many of them came back to want to pray for the parents for strength. Even my hubby’s colleague’s prayed for his parents to accept. I think so many of them picked it up in their spirit that it’s His time. Even my Aunty, Jerry’s Granny that was in India had visions that Jesus was carrying Jerry to a Beautiful white Coffin.
As my cuz was standing at the funeral service sharing Jerry’s testimony, there was not one eye that was dry in that room. Over 800ppl filled the house to pay their final respects, only showed me that the life Jerry lived was such an impact full life. He would have lived a short life, but he lived a full life in Christ. This boy was one amazing boy, as we sat down talking about all the memories…we were reminded on what such a loving child he was. He would even at his adolescent years express his love to his parent and wish everyone goodnight, every night before he is off to sleep. He would never take people for granted. But he also was a choleric, if he did not like something he would say it out, but that only proved that he does not keep things in his heart. He would complement the food that his mom cooked in a rush before off to minister to the estate side of Sitiawan to telling her that he loved her so much. He would be the first to wake up and have his devotion. His diary will be filled with names of ppl that needs prayer and all of the family member’s names were written in there to be prayed for, this is so he will not miss any out. Oh yes he loved life so much. Then he wakes mom for prayer and after moms devotion, she gets more shut eye while he gets his youngest brother ready for school. Honks the van to signal the girls that live next door to their house to send them off to school (The church has a home for young girls) send mommy dearest to work. My cuz sis also added that since he was still on probation license. He would never drive any vehicle without the ‘P’ sticker. He moves the sticker from car to car when he drives. On Sunday mornings, he leaves home at 7 am to bring people to church from Air Tawar to sitiawan. About 20KM drive and off he goes to bring more ppl to church, then sends them back. Their ministry is towards the estates in Perak side, hence the people that come are mostly poor but truly hungry for God. Awesome right. The funeral service was so beautiful and only songs of praises were sung.
He was a boy after Gods own heart, as you can see; you would know why he went back to daddy. But it hurts, very much and sometimes most of the times we can’t explain this. I always see death and life to be one of God’s amazing mysteries and choose not to question Him when it comes to this.. Not that I am trying to be humble or anything, it’s just that something’s are just beyond my imagination and beyond my human ability to comprehend. So I save myself the misery of wanting understand things beyond my minds capabilities…, I know my daddy God knows best and life belongs to him and I do know that only HE, HE alone has the power to give and to take away.. it took along time for me to understand that but knowing that daddy knows best and has control in this situation helps so much, but honestly it still hurts. It hurts so much. That my eyes just did not want to stop from flowing…(You can imagine the head ache I had after that) In fact as a mother I know it will hurt so much that you feel your heart is about to explode. Just imagining my kids not being here with me stabs my heart.. so I in a way I was able to feel, not total but a tiny bit could feel what my Cuz went thru. As they were burring his body, I held the umbrella for my cuz, and I heard her whisper; “Father God, I know I am suppose to let him go to you, but its painful, so painful. I am sorry, but it hurts.” When she said that my heart broke. It rained; rained so heavily that we had to speed things up and to see the members of the church themselves bare footed and buried Jerry’s body, was breathtaking. I would say this was a boy that was one of a kind and I learnt so much from my experience there. The funeral, the lives, the commitment, the love, wow..amazing..

Jerry will be missed so much, but at the same time, I know we will be meeting him soon when he welcomes us back home with The big JC…..His life was such an impact full life. A life fully lived and love given all to GOD. Never thought my Young cute nephew would have impacted more lives when he passed on from earth. To God be all the glory.

Love you all so much till then..

JEN

Tickets for sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Praise Community Church is based in Semenyih and over the past 6 years, the Church has diligently served the community around Semenyih, most of who are from low income group. The Church has grown from a congregation of just 15 to over 120 now. Praise Community Church is actively involved in Estate ministry as well as managing a half way house for abused women. The Church serves the community of Semenyih from a 2 storey shop lot that is owned by a medical Doctor who operates a private clinic downstairs.
However, recently the Church was given notice to vacate as the Doctor intends to expand his practice. Having no other choice, we scouted for and found an unoccupied vacant corner lot building at Bandar Sunway Semenyih. With earnest help and fervent prayer from the congregation, we have now managed to negotiate with the developers to allow us to rent the 2 storey corner lot building for an amount that we had budgeted for.
We have managed to secure a good deal as this building will eventually belong to us as we have embarked on a ‘Rent – To – Purchase’ agreement with the developers. Hence we are seeking your kind assistance to help us raise the much needed funds to allow us to purchase this building in due course.
Various activities have been planned by our community and this has accumulated to one major function which is the “Charity Dinner” to be held on Saturday 28th March 2009 at the Bangsar Seafood Garden Restaurant, No 63, Jalan Ara, Bangsar Baru, 59100 Kuala Lumpur.
You can help us by purchasing seats at RM150.00 per person or RM1,500 per table. Please call us for the “Response Form” for your kind perusal and further action. We sincerely appreciate your time and thank you for your support. We look forward to your favourable reply. How are ya’ll doing?? Okay…this few weeks had been a huge blessing. We’re done with one of our major events, THE BBQ PARTY, There are few more huge ones up our sleeves.
A few months towards our BBQ party, we, Radically Saved, was approached by a couple via facebook. They spoke and cliqued with us the moment we met. They were our host last 31st August. They approached us for assistance for their church building fund.
Read on la! I haven’t come to the point yet.
The couple, Rita and Sasi, came up with an initial plan of a charity dinner. Guess what? In true RS spirit, we took up the challenge and start laying out plans and quite a few “extravagant and radical” ideas so to speak.
RS got to know this couple even more and about their church that we are about to help as well. The couple attends Praise Community Church (PCC). This is an outreach of the Kajang Assembly Of God. PCC was established in August of 2002 and the Church was located in Semenyih in a two storey shop lot with just over 15 members. Believe it because 2 or more gathered in HIS name IS a CHURCH. Currently they are in the process of moving to a better place which now located in Bandar Sunway Semenyih.
Of course with a church there must be a man who is running the will of the guy upstairs right? The congregation is lead by Pastor Marcel Joseph, with the assistance of his wife, Sister Eva in worship and prayer every Sundays. The community is mainly made up of Tamil Christians from around Kajang and Semenyih. The church actually goes into places like Oil Palm Estates in and around Kajang and Semenyih bringing the good news.
It is common knowledge that moving to a new place is very taxing in resources and financially. PCC had purchased a building which is much more accessible for the existing congregation and also the new ones which I am very sure that will boom in no time.
PCC has seen tremendous growth in the past few years and presently stands at over 130 members, inclusive of children. See told ya’ll that it’s a huge number. They also had been actively involved in various ministries and have regular cell group meetings in various members’ houses.
Under the leadership of Pastor Marcel, PCC has continued to extend their ministry to nearby estates such as Abaco Estate and soon we will be reaching out to Dunedin Estate, all in and around Semenyih. It is quite an amazing feat to see a church to grow at that rate in just few years time.
Read on to know more on the Estate Ministries that PCC caters.

The Abaco ministry began four years ago. They started by providing free tuition and organizing children’s church on Saturdays. At first used a dilapidated house which belonged to a worker. After two years, the house was demolished and the estate chief clerk allowed us to use the nursery school. When they wanted to install ceiling fans, they were told to do it at their own risk because chairs and mats would go missing as the crèche was not locked. But our God is a prayer answering God. One month later, they were given the keys to a house which was completely renovated, painted and had a fan installed for the use of MIC’s community projects. The chief clerk gave them the keys to the house as he appreciated their work. See its not a myth when you hear good deeds has its own rewards and blessings.
In addition to that, PCC had built a good relationship with the families in the estate and are able to minister to them. They have begun to open up and share their problems with them. The church members would ask them (PCC) to pray whenever they have a need.
PCC believes the Lord is doing a great work in their lives. Some of them have testified how God has intervened in their lives. Recently, one of them wanted a Tamil Bible because she saw a vision of Jesus Christ and was healed of a terrible pain in her leg after she prayed and called upon Jesus. No doubt that it is such a blessing to receive and such a wonderful testament to HIS name. Occasionally, some of them come to church. Sincerely we (RS) believe that God will do many more great things among this group of people and will lift them up from oppression, poverty and rejection.
Apart from the Estate ministry, Praise Community Church members are also involved in Single Women Ministry. Under the guidance of the Pastor and senior members of the Church, we continue to assist single mothers who are in need of support, both financially as well as emotionally. The Church members often donate food and clothing to the single mothers which in turn helps to ease their burden. From this ministry PCC has now established a ‘half-way house’ for women who are in distress or in urgent need of a place to shelter. The home is called ‘Rumah HatiKu”.
What you have just read is just a small fraction of what Radically Saved had heard from the couple. It is amazing how a small step that a church takes could impact lives of so many in a huge way. Clearly without any doubt that all this work, there should be financial backing. In the end of the day, it is the will and the work of God is in the main picture.
There this once Rita was sharing with us that the church doesn’t even have a proper sound system. There this once a guest speaker comes to the church to share. Everything was going on fine till the mic went off. Mind it that they don’t have cordless mics that some churches are accustomed to. When the guest speaker asked to change the mic, they had to switch mics with the worship team. Which we were told only had 2 mics. For a moment I was relieved that I wasn’t in the Pastor’s shoes. It was heart wrenching to hear that a church that was so involved in the Lords work undergoing this much.
Here where RS comes in with Sasi and Rita’s Building Fund. The date is confirmed. Which if I am not wrong, is set on the 28th March 2009? It might not seem like a long time, but believe me it is just a small time period. Come on it translates into a semester of my course la. So short!!! The tickets for this charity event are priced at RM 150.00 per head and RM 1500.00 per table (10pax. per table). We will be having it at Bangsar Seafood Restaurant. Well we started with normal prayer and KAvi and Tom on the worship. It was awesome and Gods presence was so beautiful….the funny thing we went to help but got more out of that humble Church than we can ever imagine….. their Church has say less than 20 ppl, but never the lest they were welcoming and so hospitable. we took over worship, ushering, exaltation and a special entrance of Praying for this nation after KAvi led us to the song God of This city. Then Sha came and gave such an impactful prayer..it was awesome the our darling big bro Spidey did such an awesome Exaltation on faith…God is awesome !!! then what an amazing day when such a simple church can do amazing things..we enjoyed it and honestly we saw our hearts change and got it renewed. Ps. Paul shared an amazing word and he also prophesied on all of us.. and personally it was amazing as something broke in us and we could literally see things change. And at that moment God gave us a word, BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD…..just to let you all know if you can come and support this church its an amazing ministry that is happening and God is Moving..We are going again This week and wanna come with us call me at 017-3705205

Love you all much

Jen
RS Team

Conformation From Above!!!!

Its funny how God brings conformation’s from…I just received a conformation from a very unlikely place, you see I will be resigning by end of this year and will be in RS fulltime, so many things are happening and I know in my heart going fulltime is the right thing to do, but being human and of course me being me..So many doubts came, like I have two kids and Tom is not like the much earning guy that can support the Kids me and the group…Debts, even small things like me waking up late on holiday was an issue in my head, and yea instead of rebuking it I let it linger in ma head…and I actually got to a place of thinking I should not ask favors from God, coz HE is God and I am mere dust. So I felt like I was being so selfish and greedy.. my God i turned in such a servants mentality…I was a shell so deep that I did not know what to do….i could not come out of it and even doing my devotions I even stopped from asking God for strength…Yes I know Dumbboooo……But you know what God is truly truly amazing, in my Weakness He is my Strength…in my pain He is my Comfort…in my Sorrow He is Joy…Love You Jesus….
Last Saturday, we had a meeting like Hendry have stated below a team from India, never in my wildest dream had I ever imagined to be touched, challenged, motivated, inspired by a third World nation…never ever doubt what God can do with just simple ppl with a willing heart….everything the pastor said was a conformation, the songs his wife sang, the prayer…I thank Pst. Paul Singham for inviting us. From the start to the finish Gods anointing was so strong and I was crying like a baby, like Gods anointing broke my heart and melted it. I was crying like a kid so lost from her dad and finally found refuge in His arms….Every word was saying, “Girl, its me. I love you, come to me, I will give you rest. Babe, I am not only your Master, I am your Father that have loved you so much and will always do” tears was so not in the state of control at all…seriously my eyes were like literally leaking. And conformation upon conformation, when he spoke about their youth ministry poured in. my heart like found new peace..i know I was a dumbo..but you know what it is ok…HE has never held that against me. I love my God
And right then and there, I tell you my heart skipped a beat, coz going fulltime is what i know my passion lies in, I love doing what I do..but circumstances just brings in to much bad vibe man…and I knew What that this was the final conformation I needed…oh ya one of the toughest conformation was to see if my hubby get the peace…and before I got the total Go tom got it…..and when we told the Pastor, he was like “good, good…God bless you ayah”. (u know like with the slang and the whole package la…)
And I tell you, God is moving…even after that things are flooding in, so far now our team will be in St.Mary’s, Then Rita and Shasi (RS Mummy and Daddy) Church, Ps. Paul’s Church…are a few..lots more on the way man…everything is shifting, the atmosphere has shifted..GOD IS MOVING

“but we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be God and not of us. We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed- always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.” (2 Corinthians 4:7-10)

With So much LOve ppl
Jen..RS Team

BBQ BOMB

Hey Awesome ppl,

First of all so sorry for the late post..had so much to do, in the time of our busyness, my kids hardly saw us so we took last week to spend as much time with them to make up all the sacrifice they have made for us…I love my babies…God have blessed me with two beautiful, unique and amazing kids….well I can’t believe it’s more than a week and I am still exhausted..it was one amazing awesome party lol…..I wanna share what an amazing party we had on the 30th August 2008. it was truly unimaginable and fun. We had a total including committee members and all were 103 in total, the young ppl alone excluding team members were 77 in total, it was an amazing time of fun food fellowship and games…..the day started as usual we all rushed into getting thinks done, then we stopped for a while and prayed for everything. Bear in mind we all were praying much for this event and even Big Bro Spidey had multiple dreams that this was going to be an amazing time…and it was, well that day hic up’s came but somehow as usual God’s Grace just showered on all of us and we were amazingly drenched by it and we found our self falling in love with HIM all over…you see we knew getting to this day was not a walk in the park…it was like a domino effect that came on us, sometimes in a day one by one we would all get on each others nerves….funny ( oh ya pls as you know I talk with reality, no hiding and trying to prove anyone in our group is perfect) even though all of the planning’s were in much fasting and prayer , I tell you the amount of things that came up…hmm it was truly and only by the Grace of the almighty…our Jesus Our savior that we got thru all…
Ok to tell you the whole story will be like pages and pages of stuff that hmmm..it will be to much info..but I am one person, when I am busy and if you pull a fight I will be in your face the whole time but surprisingly, even so many stuff that came I did cry, but did not raise my voice and sit in a corner, I just did what I had to do and it was so surprising to me that I kept calm, well of course it was not me it was so the HOLY Spirit working thru me…coolers rite?? Well anyway Friday was cool we ran around buying everything, but because of much planning and much time we had we were calm and took our time, this time we were actually very relaxed la..Saturday early morning was our marinating day, we slept well and woke up quite early on Saturday and we started with the cooking and decorating…it was getting hot and the big bro spidey said a small prayer for it to rain and cool the day a bit, and you know what it did and only for like a hour…and this cooled the air for us..we did all the other work, and to my surprise this time I tell you the young ppl that came were mostly on time man..so funny..so we got on to the day with the meat on the grill and running up and down, we were in a rush..but as ppl stated to fill the place we got more and more surprised, you see last year Merdeka BBQ we only had a bout 20 young ppl, this time my gosh..it was over flowing with abundance. Malcolm and Justin were so surprised them could not believe that this was RS BBQ party, they thought they came to the wrong place. Even Steven Ting that came was like blown away…
The judges came out with their Afro wigs and my girl Jess was not the judge but match them with her natural afro hairstyle…the judges brought out 3 babes and 3 dudes for the best dressed award…and the winners were Jonathan from Lim Kok Wing and Nagam…the awards were custom made and the scroll were made by our Big Bro..it was amazingly beautiful. Then we had three diff games, we first had an ice breaker, we gave all the participants a small piece of paper containing animal names and got them in groups, well it was all not well organized but it was fun… the first was a team effort, it was building a marshmallow tower with a twist…all teams were given small mellows and tooth pick to build a tower with it but I did say team with the most creativity wins…the guys that won we all holding the tower as a team..it was so funny, the next game was chubby bunny and we started with two small flavored mellows but it went to 4 then 6 the we gave them the big one to stuff their mouths with and I tell you I was hiding behind my assistant to keep me from vomiting…my gosh it was horrific…the last game and my fav game was again a team effort, the team with the most synchronized and interesting retro dance wins…I tell you it was so happening that I started to dance as well…at the end the goat team (if I tak salah) won. The screams oh my and we presented a Chocolate hamper to them.
The most amazing thing was after the giving of the hamper, I kindda gave a speech on Tash and we called her, Tash wanted so much to be at the party but could not, so I called her on speaker phone and all shouted Tash we love ya…and the most beautiful part was they all gave the hamper to Un. Anne. It was a moving moment then. Oh ya at that time it drizzled a little, I walked in and I whispered to God saying, God pls move the clouds..and guess what HE did again… nice eh..
The food as usual I thought it wont be enough but as usual it was overflowing and God was amazing to bless all the amazing food there…like last year it was never stopping, it came and came and came. Compare this year to last year, this year was much bigger and with so much more help and the best thing it was done with a bigger bunch of amazing ppl, ppl that are more just friend, they are family…it was superb..
Lets start with the head..JESUS, well I cant say much because word can never describe the wonder and greatness of Him, He was with us thru all, He was everything and amazingly with us thru all….when we were tired he picked us up, when we were sad, HE cheered us up, when we cried, HE wiped our tears..when we were having fun, HE was the happiest coz HE loved to see us happy. So much more bout Him..wanna know this guy more easy, The BIBLE…so much bout Him..that’s where we got to know Him much.
The hosts of this party, Rita and Shasi, never have I seen such a committed couple that went thru all the way, you see Shasi ‘aka’ Big Bro Spidey is a very new Christian and Rita is actually preggers, yes!!!! 6 months preggers..Rita was on her feet the whole time, I even rested but she was like a jet and honestly, she was amazing, I love her passion and her zeal, she is someone that is real, puts off all the acting and she is just Rita the amazing women of God that has so much more to do in this life for God…She kept us up on our feet, if you see all the pic’s she was like doing this and that and never stopping, and Big bro Spidey, he was a legend, a man after Gods own heart, he loves God with all His life, I am ashamed being near Him, his passion and zeal out lasts all of ours, HE was amazing in prayer and encouragement for the whole team….never once complained and in fact made us feel like family..This couple is one of the most generous and loving couple…they are like the mummy and daddy of the group…cool eh
Then we have Hendry, literally my right hand man, he was one fellow that was with us every step of the way and he was like the only one that can ever put up with me and my nonsense… he was the main @ the Barby, the one that was always wanting to know if everything was ok and getting all in place, washed and set up the barby, and was like @ the pit for more than an hour..i tell you I was there a mere 15mins and I wanted to faint… amazing bro..truly…
Then my pillar of strength KAvi, well she was actually the brains of the whole party and boy ideas upon ideas just came flying out of her. And she was another soul that was so patient with my nonsense…hihihih :-P and to have her beside me supporting me the whole way was amazing. She was like an angel Heaven sent and I am just blessed to have a sis like her.. she stayed up doing the invites, her generous heart is so amazing, everything is a yes with her, a women of faith, everything was a “ yes we can do that”. She brought love to the whole team, and in times where I felt like I was gonna lose my mind she was there standing by me. Thanks babe..love you so much…
Then there was Sha, the gentle dove, my sis….she was the amazing new ppl girl, she was all the way doing her thing, she was doing what she is good at..new ppl, ppl are her passion and she lead the team well and made friends with almost everyone there. Proud of ya baby sis…
Then of course not forgetting Jules the cow, the amazing work he was doing…when I saw him, I saw a son of the most high serving everyone..he was picking up ppl, entertaining his buddies and yes, he invited half of his facebook contact, proud of you bro in love….he was like Superman up here then up there then run there then run here…hmmm amazing right.
Then my boy, my baby bro that made me so proud of everything, Calvin..Calvin is one boy that is playful and loving and amazingly a kid most of the time, but on that day I saw an amazing leader, a boy that just became a responsible man, he was the multi tasker of the whole team…he was suppose to be in Ipoh that day helping out his family for his cousins weeding, but because this family meant something to him, he actually took a bus down and came to Kl, he left the next morning to Ipoh, 8.30 bus and this boy was up till 5.30 doing everything, he was bbqing he was entertaining his friends, helping out, and the first one to clean up and the whole time I did not hear one complain from his mouth..baby bro I am so proud and honored that you are my bro, love you so much…
Then there was Dexter a small boy but he was on the barby the whole time determine to cook the best meat, I felt so bad and so many times told him to go take some rest, but he was like “no, never mind, I eat d, I ok oni, I can do this..” I am so proud of him, my other bro…he is the baby of the group and everyone loves him to bits…
Then my Felisia, she was a darling, you know when I first met her last year, she was a quite lil girl that would hardly mingle with anyone. But this time we saw such an amazing confident young women mingling and making friends, she went table to table and spoke to literally with everyone and at the same time she took pic’s and loved doing that and she was like the person that stirred the crowd for the games and dances…amazing rite…
Then my Esther Girl…my my, I was like a proud mom looking at her. I see the last post was Jennifer updating ya'll on our BBQ on the 30th August. Guess what??? IT WAS A BOMB!!

We planned & ya'll executed it. Thanks..

Okay things been really really sweet....All smooth flowing with minor speed bumps..Come on you cant speed everything up all the way. Hahahaha....

Our hosts James Sasi and Rita Subramaniam were awesome....Thanks to them we had a venue for the BBQ. Well they are familia, they probably feel like a load of dry ice being dumped on their heads....Hahahaha....Well its true la, what they had done for the venue is mind blowing la.

We planned the whole thing up in just a few months, it is afterall an annual thing. (YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!!). All planned up, but there is one thing which scared us all senseless... WILL THERE BE ANYONE COMING?? Mainly because we had put up our RSVP for the event on facebook. And as of the eve of the barbecue, only 29 confirmed. (of course it wasnt the only medium we spread the news on the bbq). I am impressed when we had the actual numbers for those who came. We had approximately, 103 people attended our party. Excluding the comitee members. And we only expected 70 - 80 people to turn up....

By the way some of the picures are up in our facebook group profile. Besides the hectic schedule all of us had that day, we are amazed how a small, noisy bunch like us all, could make a huge difference. I was amazed listening to the feed back and testimonies we got. We practically heard people saying this is the first time in ages they had such good clean fun.

Food was awesome!!!!!!!!!! BBQ Chicken Wings, Lamb, Prawns, Sweet potatoes, Corn...Just to name a few..There were many side-dishes that practically wiped clean. Hahahaha....No joke!! I am serious... Remember the time Jesus had fed 5000 +++ people??? I would say that is what we experienced on that day. By the end of the BBQ, we had a container full of chicken wings, a tupperware full of prawns and lamb. Believe me, when Jennifer does her shopping, it will be just nice for how many people we roughly budgetted to come around 90. The last time we had our Christmas Party we had like 2 besens full of lamb and chicken wings. We had that brought back home after dividing it among ourselves.

I had loads of fun. Met loads of new people, loads of connections made. Even got to know people I never knew would be connected to Radically Saved indirectly.

____________________________________________________________________

-Now There Is Work To Be Done

We had people telling us why do this BBQ, why waste time and effort? Well I would simply say, the joy of seeing loads of people coming together having fun and not side-tracking is simply awesome.

Last Sunday was suppose to be our Thanksgiving Prayers for the BBQ we had. A small one, just among us core RS people. Unfortunately, the event was canceled at the last minute. Little that we know that upon taking the invitation of Ps. Paul Singam to attend a prayer meet would forever put in place and root deeply in all our RS people the vision and the cause we had taken up.

We was suggested to meet up a group of people from India. They had something similar to Radically Saved but they started in 1989 itself. They were from an organization called Young Fishermen Team. They are based in Coimbatore, India. What they do for the young people there was such an eye opener. What we strive to do here, they are already doing it. Isnt it amazing that an example, no no a tap on the shoulder, no no, a slap on the back of your head. That is how it felt that time. A group from a 3rd world country had to meet us up at a pre-estined time and place by God to wake us all up.

I was impress for the fact that they had a humble beginnings like us as well. They were led by Ps. Selvin Raj. They started off with just 8 people and grew to 14,100 people and majority are youths in just a short span of 10 years. In fact what they do is very much aligned with what we had in stored for Radically Saved. It was a huge confirmation for us that we are already in line and moving with our multiple confirmations we had previously. Even they shared and preched in Tamil, yet the message was so strong that it moved us to really speak and talk to the Pastor. We really would like to thank Ps. Paul Singam for enabling us to meet up with these people.

They were impressed of what we do, how we move and what we stand for. They too receive a lot of persecutions and tribulations. We are so lucky we are allowed to move freely in what we do. What they face at India with fanatisicm and crap like that just made us think what we do here is just a fraction of what is yet to come. We are fully convince that we will perservere in everything and anything we do. It will be no doubt that many things are yet to be done.

We had just begin our journey. Radically Saved would be like BOMBS going of in hearts on many young people generation. By the way if you havent got in touch with us. please do look us up on facebook.

Just type Radically Saved in the search box we will be there as a group page. Speak to us. Get in touch.

Peace, Word!

Hendry Rao,
Radically Saved Team.

BBQ Update

Hey Allllllllll,

I am like so busy, but am taking some time to give you all some update on the BBQ, well things are coming in place and pls pls pls RSVP by the 24th August 08, and we have made bookings and all other stuff.. am so excited lol...the theme is Black and white retro, so come all dressed coz there will be a best dressed award for the dude and the babe....its is gonna be totally wonderful...

Check out below some updates kay...

love much

Jen
MENU:
BBQ:
Chicken Wings
Lamb
Gourmet Sausage’s skewers
Marshmallow’s
Corn
Banana’s in Foil
Japanese Ubi
Prawns
Side Dish:
Mash Potatoes
Potato Salad
Coleslaw
Cranberry Salad
Garlic Bread
Tuna Grape Pasta
Fried Rice
Dessert:
Oriental Fruits
Merdeka Cake
Jelly
Chocolate Fountain W Strawberry’s, Water Chestnuts, Peaches, Marshmallow’s, Dried Apricots and other Suitable dips.
Drinks:
Hot Drinks; Coffee & Tea
7up & Ribena Punch
Kavi’s Fruit Punch

AGENDA:
· 6.30pm – Arrival of Guest @ WELCOME TABLE
· 7.00 pm – Eating and Mingling – New PPl team @ work
· 7.30 pm – Games – Fun officers @ Work including the afro Judges!!
· 8.30pm – Announcing of the winners….. Guess what???? Aint that AWESOME??? Ok ok enough of me self praising me self.

Plus Minus there is only 10 days towards or 2nd Annual BBQ. Things can go awfully fragile and a lil havoc especially with us all hyped up towards it.

Loads of things been going on...and on and on and on...Once the ball starts running it aint gonna stop to take a break. My Leader and Homie, Thomas worship leads on 2nd Wednesdays every month at St.Mary's K.L...We are gonna help out with a fabulous couple Rita and Shasi with their church building fund. Things we been thinking and passionate of are just coming into place like jigsaw pieces.

Lemme start with this statement:

TEENS AND YOUTHS AINT WANNA DO GOD'S WORK

Ok got that d??? Ok...Now let me say its A MYTH!
Bull crap la THE STATEMENT.

Given a chance they will carry out the work with full of fiery passion. All out. No doubt the will be moments where they will slack bit but that doesnt mean they are no good.I would like to share ya'll.....Read on.

I am from a Catholic background. No disrespect or to compare but this is what is happening from my point of view. As a teenager we are all suppose to be hyped up to do this and do that. I received my confirmation on 2004. Never learned anything. Beside I was teaching Bible Knowledge for a year or so.That was my first responsibility in a church institution. That never last long. You know la church politics...Haiz...I let everything go...Was like SCREW IT. Never took any responsibility even was offered coz I know eventually iy will get screwed up coz people would say M a small kid.

Was all hood, all good. Till when I took up my responsibility in Radically Saved. Received loads of confirmation..Never thought its serious. Till I begin getting confirmations by the same words from diff pastors. THATZ REALLY OFF THE HOOK! I cant help but to sit and ponder what was my calling and shall i grasp it. How should I break it to my family???

My family is like any normal family besides the fact my dad is a conservative Catholic. He has this set of views where other churches besides Catholic church is heresy. And my dad side of the family thinks I committed a huge sin. Despite the fact I still go to a Catholic Church. They kept poking and prodding asking loads of question from me and my parents as well.
*That is my dad's view. Hey everyone are entitled to their own opinion and believes.*

I had to sit and think how am I going to tell my parents and family about my calling. Till my aunt invited all of us. Everyone from my dad side. All of us turned up. The Ironic part is...You got to hear this out, the church my aunt is from aint Catholic. That day was suppose to be an anointing service. But it turned out to be much more than that. It was awesome to see how God moved everyone of us, even the most conservative to come together to praise God in unison. As time passed we reached to the end of the service, the pastor did an alter call. Asking us who need prayer... My uncle stepped up. He had the pastor prayed for him. At that moment I felt me spiritman pushing me. He was practically like:

"OI!!!!!!!! GO LA!!!!!!!!!!! DONT MISS IT! SOMETHING AWESOME IS GONNA HAPPEN! BELIEVE ME"

I just did. I followed. The pastor prayed and prayed. And He Asked me can I speak in Tongues. Naturally I said, NO. He just shot back saying, YOU WILL. I was like blur suddenly. Opened my eyes to peek. I realised he was closing his eyes as well. That time I felt this presence which instinctively I closed my eyes. All this was happening infront of my aunts and uncles cousins and relatives. He again asked me:

"Brother, will you take up the call? Will you accept God's plan to do HIS work?"

That moment I was like muted. I was one part, WHY NOW??? Another part was like THANK GOD!!!!! It was a huge confirmation. That was like telling me, there dont worry about telling your parents or family. Its Gods plan. Then I realised there was a silence. No one spoke or anything. I knew it was God's moment. I accepted the fact. And agreed. He also asked me to read a verse 1 John 2.27.

"Christ gave you a special gift that is still in you, so you do not need any other teacher. His gift teaches you about everything, and it is true, not false. So continue to live in Christ, as his gift taught you. (1 John 2.27 NCV) "

I was blur...blur...I tell you...But then again. There was something that was sobering enough. Something lifted up my shoulders. At that moment I realised that I was prophesied over in front of my whole family. Then I walked up to my mom and asked her n my dad to walk up front.

Surprisingly they did. The Pastor was praying over my parents and said unto them that there shall be no more doubts, not to fear, accept the fact. The funny part was, the pastor did not not know that the couple he prayed over was my parents. Everything he said was on the dot. No use to deny it.

Now my family know I am doing my ministry. Especially my dad, he now understands what I do. He begin to see beyond that is laid before him. Thank God for that.

If you take up a responsibility based on faith and in HIS name, Doors will be opened, windows popping every where. Now I feel I am achieving more than what I am doing from before..

Young People, Throw Your Right Arm In The Air!! Take Up The Call...Fall Back In His Name. All will be Good, And Finally It You Your Self Will Say:

NOW THATZ OFF THE HOOK!!!

Updates..just Updates

Hey my amazing wonderful, bro’s & Sis’s of God…..this is truly a God time… thing are full of thing happening…yup.. can you believe this, I was on MC for 4 days and I was still on probation. Well August started out not on a good note; on the 1st I got mugged, yes mugged…along with my bag, my money and one of my most precious thing my phone, its was very close to my heart coz my darling youths got t for me on my birthday. And me being me, I kindda blessed him with the charger and the earphone.. Yup:-P but what is gone is gone. And I will buy a phone similar to that phone soon in remembrance of my darling bro’s and sis’s…. but on the 3rd something amazing happened. We all went for passion…boy it was the most amazing thing ever lol…well not as amazing as God himself, but it was amazing…Ps. Louie was awesome, so was Chris and Charlie, Gods presence just swept the place and the whole thing was just full of meaning… to be living for Him and Him alone…and you know what we are all so proud to be the fruit cake….trust me..its sososososo true.. Fruitcake for JC. And while I was listening to the sermon, I was like thinking to myself, God just for fun give me a sign…did not think much as he was preaching bout Passion…but then out of no where the said it Radical, and as you know our group went wild.. amazing rite… and it seemed that most of RS ppl were asking the same thing, Jules made a statement, Radical is not an everyday word but yet we hear it when we need it…God is good… On Monday we had a meeting with Ps. Paul Singam, he wanted to hear out what is the vision of RS, so myself, Tom, KAvi, Hendry, Sha and Jules went to see him…we spoke on what we believe God has for us and we shared all our experiences with him…as we spoke something shifted in the atmosphere… we all felt it, Ps. Paul also confirmed that God was talking to him about a new Radical generation that God is stirring in this Nation…he shared his vision and heart with us as well. Then he gave us all some anointing oil and in all joined hands and prayed in the middle of ‘Strudels’ (Cool eh) I had a vision, it was like a tree and it was growing, at the top the tree had like a small bunch of leaves, but the tree was growing and shooting out braches and new leaves were shooting out of these branches…but the tree kept on growing and it was not stopping..and the I saw like a beam of light and it was like a tunnel and it was like a long tunnel and at the end it was an eye ball, a huge one. I said the vision out and Ps. Paul told us that was a very good vision and he gave me a word, he said God told him that I have gone thru a lot and a lot of ppl have said that I don’t know where I stand, but he assured me that God knows where I stand and what I am doing is of HIM…and yes I cried. I really could not help it. It was awesome. Ps. Paul invited us for a Friday Prayer meeting. We said amazing and we went back amazingly lifted. The whole week we were all in excitement and we were planning for our annual BBQ party.. wow what a journey.. this is just the beginning..i will be updating on more stuff soon.. This is just a glance.. See ya’ll soon kay

Laminin Revisited

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_hHiZmsERZaI/SIdNzTJrnFI/AAAAAAAAABE/W6xga_6IqUU/s320/laminin.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5226231436296297554" />

Remember the previous post? The one we had fun, watched about Laminin n all??? Ya'll probably be wondering what is Laminin. The pic above is the thing that was so hyped bout.

Aint That Off The HOOK???

For more technical stuff look it up HERE

Well as a fella whoz doing this medic thingy.....I was totally blown away of what this simple self adhesion model does. It practically keeps the organic matter of humans stays intact. Aint that Cool? Aint That Hip? As RADICAL as it seem. It is what God had in his Master Plan.

Forget about the plans you made. Compared to what he had done, it will totally bow you away. To put things into perspective, lets just take a comparison. A simple one. Imagine!!! It is said in the bible that God measures THE UNIVERSE IN THE SPAN OF HIS THUMB AND POINTER FINGER. Ok ok to make things even more simple, take a Golf Ball, this represents the Earth ok, put it at one end of Penang Bridge go to another end. Now try looking at the Golf Ball. Ok Now if the Golf Ball is The Earth, try pointing where you are just by looking at it using your naked eye.

Now remember, how God measures the Universe. You can email to me, saying Hendry but you dont understand. You dont understand what is it like to be in my shoes. Well I have news for you. NO!! I cant put myself in your shoes for two reason:

1. Your shoe size might not fit me
2. Your experience with life is pre-destined by God. Tailor made. Read The 1st reason.

You see he has a far greater plan for you. Open your eyes and see. COME ON!!! If you can open up your mind to watch a favorite movie, you can do it to see and put God in the picture. If you were looking at KLCC, it looks HUGE. Right? Now put your left palm exactly 1cm infront of your naked eyes. I Bet You My BANK SAVINGS (I am Serious!!). And tell me what you see. There is only 2 Things you can see.

1. An appendage of yours blocking your view.
2. You CANT Look at the ONLY 2 TALLEST TWIN BUILDINGS.

If your own body can block such a marvel. What else you can actually do when keeping your minds closed. For an example in Job 23:10 "But he knows the way that I take;when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.(NKJV)"

Get what I mean???? See Job in the Old Testament, never had his faith wavered despite the intense scrutiny he goes thru. The Trials and Tribulations "Mr. D" puts him thru. He persevered. His faith alone was his rod and staff. Towards the end when he almost gave up, He questioned God. And the reply he gets slapped sense and made him realise how tiny he was in God's plan.

From time to time God has to put us thru something huge that knocks sense into us. Well see that as refining. Psalm 12:6 "And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.(NKJV)"

What more can you say??? Purified 7 Times??? WOW!!! Dts like 100% Silver. He knows when to pull you out of the furnace. That is so awesome. If you have another way of putting it put it into perspective. By Now You should realise that the power of his word. the most generic form is in Genesis 1:3 "And God said,"Let there be light," and there was light. "

If his word alone hold such might, which created one of the most constant thing in the universe. What else we mere mortal could do,say, think, feel and see the bigger picture?
ASK YOURSELF.

Regards,
Hendry
Radically Saved Team

Laminin

Hey peeps, back again….

Yst was such an amazing day…it was so powerful man….Tom and I have our Saturday breakfast day every Sat but Yst we kind of got in a fight..Funny..I was like hey we were so fine all of a sudden something just popped up..then I was like my gosh this night is gonna be so awesome I know coz this fight is up, so we kinnda made up and went for our family weekly swim, this time the family was like really big la…there was me of course, Tom, Sha, Tash, Hendry, Jeff, mummy, the kids, then joined by Calvin, Shobana, Durga and Jules..its was like major fun..We were like in the pool for at least 2 hours..And Hendry of course had to hurt himself….then we went up…and kinnda found out it was Shobane’s birthday, so we got a small marble butter cake and sang a song for her.

well this is the first written blog by me, Jen, the others will blog later on...so I will be blogging bout the journey of Radically Saved, and in this blog there will be truth, no cover up about what we went thru, just truth all the pain, the hurt, the times we were so down, but it will show how God brought this group up back, its only thru His Grace we are here again, so here it starts. We started out from a life group from CCKL, but when God called us out it was hard to leave, esp. after settling in a church where you kids love so much. It was hard at first, from what it was to what RS shrunk to..... So RS (short for Radically Saved) started again with a handful of youths. At this point we only consisted of Tom, myself, Jules, Jeru, my right hand man Hendry, and my strength Kavita, the women that believed so much that pulled me up to believe even more, I must take this time to thank esp. Hendry and Kavie, these two, in the times of total hurt and unbelief, they held everything into place and backed me up all the way thru, thanks guys so much, for standing by me and holding on to the vision that God placed in our hearts. Love you all to bits...ok, getting very emo here...

So I wanna share today on the day where God pushed our Faiths, and challenged us once again to take this call up, God is amazing. the day was a Sunday, we had just visited Jules Church, it was tom, myself, Jeru, of course Jules, Deeps, my sweets Kavie, my amazing bro Hendry and the most adorable kids ever in this world, my kids....we went out had a good day out clowning in Bangsar..it was one tiring day, so we all heeded home....at home say bout 8pm, well we did not think anything much of that day and just lazed around the TV that time, it was getting late and the next day was a working day, so Deeps wanted to leave and so we all hugged the girls and just about the time Kavie and Deeps wanted to leave the house, Kavie hopped on to the piano, the way she hopped on with a wide grin on her tired looking face is something I can never forget. "let’s do a song", Kavie suggested, so we all agreed, we all held hands and prayed and started Consuming Fire, little did we even know that the part where we sang "Burn it up in our hearts Lord" the fire was literally burning in our hearts and God was fanning it more into flames....

as we sang the worship just took off, this style of worship was used to me coz this is KAv's and Tom's signature worship style, no planning, just hopping into free worship....gosh these ppl, just love them, so as we were singing one song led to another and to another, then again to another...I think we would have sang at least 8-10 songs that night and on an amazing worship...as we sang the second song, Tom spoke a word, he asked us look at our churches containing thousands of ppl, so much ppl that the churches cannot contain and need more churches...amazing, so we all started to imagine and believe that our churches will be multiplying to that many ppl, and we knew that time that the church must be ready to contain that many ppl......then God showed me a vision on a volcano erupting and the lave burning up all the impurities at the land making the soil fertile and healthy.....and I said it out and the revelation that God gave me for the vision was that RS will erupt like that and will make the land fertile and healthy for God again...amazing rite, so we all prayed, but during the worship no one said anything...I think it was for a purpose...then after we were done, my gosh you should have been there to feel the anointing that was still there so strong...it was so impactful that it touched all of us...so as we were sitting down and just soaking up the awesomeness of God...

Tom went to the kitchen to make some milk for Jess, Hendry went with him, the Sha was telling us that she saw a vision, in that vision she was in a field and in the field there was a stage and RS band was on the stage, then ppl began to fill that field and she was pushed further and further back of the field, and the stage seemed like a small ants to her and when she turned to her side there were all types off young ppl, just ppl that are diff but they were all lifting up their hand and worshiping God…these youths she felt were hurt broken youths but came together to worship God, and the youth were all like gothic and youths that you would never ever imagine that they will worship God, but tears was rushing down their eyes as they worshiped God. As she was sharing that vision with us, Tom walked pass us and stopped her and Said that Hendry just had that same vision but only ppl were knelling down and lifting hands high and worship God…so amazing, the both of them did not have the courage to say it during the worship time, but that has so has changed now….hihi…

well back to the story, so we were all amazed and at that time I realized that I must not judge anyone, I must love ( trust me I am still working on that, the Holy Spirit is working double time on me hihi) coz that evening when we were in Bangsar I saw a couple that walked pass me, the man was walking in front and the women behind, the man looked like a thug and the women timid and petite, and the women had a black eye, so obvious that the guy had punched her, at that time I looked at him, and even though he was staring at me, I looked at Kavie and Said, how does God expect us to love ppl like him ppl that punched their wife like this….and the answer came after Sha’s and Hendry’s Vision….Do not judge them, we don’t, no we will never know what the guy would have went thru that he was like that…my Gosh an immediate change just swept thru our hearts At that moment…then Kavie also said when she started the song and questioned God saying “God what has RS became to, just so small” and she felt God said there will come a time that RS will go thru this but all we have to do is to trust Him, and at that moment Tom gave His word and I spoke about the Volcano..

it was like a domino effect the whole worship session….it was so awesome, but this was just the star of the confirmation and the revelations that God had placed in our Hearts…will share more in the near future…God is amazing..This is the Start of something Radical that will be birth in this land…MALAYSIA.We are ready..We love you GOD ALMIGHTY

Why??

Why does it turned that way?

The shock just shunning me away.

When a son asks an egg, will the dad give’em a scorpion?

Does God’s will needs mortals ego and petty reason?

Hated by many confronted by none,

Human’s redemption gained ages ago by God’s son,

Open your hands and proclaim Romans 10.9,

Yet Its your comfort I seek to be fine.

Hands clasped, knees bent and head bowed,

From the multitudes chosen few stood out,

Thirsty souls cry in unison, proclaiming praise,

No matter how far we astray, you pulled me back,

Opened my eyes pulled the thorn out of my neck,

And now Lord what I wait for? I know I can look it up the dictionary or google it or wikipedia it, but from biblical point of view I am a little blur. I asked my LG leader,Thomas, about this and I got his feedback.

I posted this on our FACEBOOK GROUP, but so far not much feedback on that topic. So I asked Ps.Mark, Our CCKL's Senior Pastor, here is what he said:

Of course, each of us have our own heritage and that culture will definitely affect us. There is nothing wrong with cultural practices – the point is this:-

Where any cultural practice ‘contradicts’ or clashes with the teachings of Jesus, the teachings of the Word of God, it must be put aside. We can’t use our own “culture” as the excuse for doing things that are contrary to the Word of God.

We are first made in HIS image, and then 2ndly in the image of our parents. Which means, you are FIRST a CHRISTIAN, and SECOND and Indian. (just like me J)...

I hope this makes sense. There are a lot of good things about different cultures which we should embrace, but this is a question of priority more than anything else.

God wanted HIS people to follow HIS commands not the practices of the Egyptians and Canaanites – when they took on traits that were from those countries that were different to the commands of the Lord, that’s when it brought His people into problems. And the same goes for us today.

Holla back at us or post up your comments on this matter

Lifehouse - Everything

This video is a awesome way of showing how as we move on in life we start to forget Jesus an how by his love and power that we have been saved from the cross by him. But I
did not quit on the bamboo. He said.
"In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo
seed.
But I would not quit.
In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo
seed. I would
not quit." He said.
"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the
earth. Compared
to the fern it was seemingly small and
insignificant...But just 6
months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots
made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it
could not handle."
He asked me. "Did you know, my child, that all this
time you have been struggling, you have actually been
growing roots".
"I would not quit on the bamboo.
I will never quit on you."
"Don't compare yourself to others."
He said.
"The bamboo had a different Purpose than the fern.
Yet they both make the forest beautiful."
"Your time will come", God said to me.
"You will rise high"
"How high should I rise?"
I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned.
"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as
you can."
<span style="font-weight: bold;
